General Membership Meeting
July 22, 2009 - Williston Park Village Hall (3rd Floor)
7pm-9pm
Guest Speaker: Senator Craig Johnson

We would like to thank all the members and residents who attended last night’s WPCA General meeting!

Rafe Leiber (standing in for Sen. Craig Johnson at the last minute) spoke on relevant topics-- our roads and infrastructure, the MTA tax, the Consolidation Bill passed to allow easier dissolution or merger of  New York's towns, villages, and special districts and the deadlock in Albany.  He also stayed to the end to answer everyone's questions.  Trustee Beth Swenson-Dowd was in attendance and to date has not missed a meeting!  We are thankful for her support.  Justice Reardon was also at the meeting and was very positive in his comments about the Association.

The Association is looking for more members to step up and help, please contact us at:  info@WillistonParkCivic.org or leave a message at 516-414-0041 and someone will contact you.  You can also help by asking neighbors to join, this year’s dues is $10.  Together we can accomplish so much.

If you are interested in reading the Consolidation Bill please click below.  The Williston Park Civic Association is providing this for your information, the Association neither  supports nor rejects the idea of Special Districts Consolidation.
